Give thanks for whales and how beautiful they are.
Remember them in your prayers this Thanksgiving! Maybe then, the lord will stop the Japanese from killing them all! Show the whales you love them and take a stand against whaling. Refuse to eat whales and respect them instead.
Give thanks for the sexy Hugh Jackman!

Give thanks for those sexy abs, thighs, chest, belly, back... and other things. What would you be without this hot eye candy to satisfy sore eyes? I swear, his wife is the luckiest woman alive. Pray... and dream... about Hugh Jackman this Thanksgiving.Give thanks for sexy book characters such as Henry DeTamble (Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger), Jamie McKensie (Outlander by Diana Gabaldon), and James (A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb). Without all these characters, love stories wouldn't be what they are today. Give thanks to the authors for thinking of these amazing men to put in their books. Oh yes.



Also, give thanks for beautiful music, free agency, and the ability to love. Remember to give thanks this Thanksgiving and not just stuff yourself with turkey!

Additional Comments: I was disappointed by this book. I didnt' think it was nearly as great as the Mortal Instruments series was. There wasn't as much action and the characters weren't as sexy. Also, there were sentences that seemed to go on for pages without periods. It was kind of annoying. Oh well, maybe I'm judging it too harshly, but it wasn't my type of book. You'll have to read it for yourself and see what you think. Everyone will look at this book differently depending on how they looked at the Mortal Instruments series.

Additional Comments: I was disappointed with this book. It wasn't as good as the first, but it was all right. The author kept the book going by asking questions and ultimately ended with a big plot twist. I didn't like it how the author made Luce start to turn against Daniel. Personally, I think Luce is kind of turning into any other nieve teenager in any other sappy series. I think ever since her series got so highly complimented by P.C Cast, Lauren Kate has been trying to turn Luce into the main character out of the House of Night series. I hope Luce and Daniel start getting along more and Luce isn't such a pain in the ass in the next book Passion, coming Summer 2011. I'm so upset because I thought this series would be different, but it is turning into just any other series. I mean, every time Luce is with Daniel in this book, she is either searching for a way to fight with him instead of loving him, which, as you know, is what they both need. Love is what kept them alive for all those eternities, but Luce treats it like she's cursed. Hello, doesn't she see the sexiest, kindest, most heavenly person possible is in love with her? It would be nice if Lauren Kate would just kind of change her direction and make them fall in love again.

Additional Comments: All I can say is: sexy, sexy, and more sexy. This wasn't exactly a "cute" romance, but it had all the elements of a dramatic historical romance. However, this book defies the laws of genres. No one knows what category this book falls under. For me, however, this book would sit on the shelf right next to The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb. I can't wait to read more of this series. It is both brutal and satisfying to the needs of a person who's reading a romance novel. I hope to get back to TwilightWhales soon with the next books in the series.
